Not a good experience! The shipping company is the worst!

The item itself is just alright, pretty average quality. Kinda expected more from the HBO shop. Where I was most unhappy with my purchase was with the shipping process. HBO Shop ships to Canada using a logistics company called RRDonnelley and let me tell you, they were hands down the WORST shipping company I have ever experienced. I would never buy anything that is being shipped by them again. This was my experience - first, the tracking number they gave me didn't work so I couldn't track the item. Kind of annoying but honestly not a huge deal. The trouble really started when I went to pick my item up from the post office. The post office notified me over the phone that I had received a parcel and there was a cash on delivery fee attached to it - which I thought was strange. My package was well within the legal import limit for duties and such. So I went down to the post office to pick it up and inquire about the COD fee. Canada Post said they did not know what the fee was and they were simply passing on the fee the shipping company charged them - again, very strange. So I called HBO customer service and they knew nothing at all about the fee/tried to convince me it was a duty charge/passed the buck completely onto their shipping company and sent me on my way. But that wasn't good enough for me, I wanted answers. So I called HBO again and pestered them and eventually found out that they ship using this RRDonnelley company which they provided a phone number for. I called the phone number and inquire about the fee. They are unable to provide me with information about the fee over the phone, they can't find it. At this point, I'm wondering why on earth I am being charged a COD fee when none of the companies in the shipping chain can explain to me what it is for. I ask the person on the end of the phone line if they can email me an invoice for the charge so I can at least see what it is. I leave my email with them and wait for their response. I hear nothing from them for over a month! I finally call them back and request the invoice again which then leads me to be transferred to no less than five (!) different people/departments, all who tell me they are not the one responsible for looking up customer invoices. I finally am put through to someone who says they can do what I want so I leave them my email again because of course they can't just pull the invoice up and read it to me. I last contacted RRDonnelley about a month and a half ago. The entire process from delivery to the time I am writing this review has taken approximately 2.5 months and I still have no idea why I was charged a COD fee. My only conclusion is that this shipping company is completely inept, possibly scamming their customers since they can't provide invoices for their charges and certainly one of the most bloated, mis-managed, and callous companies I have ever encountered with absolutely zero regard for customer satisfaction. I have pretty much completely given up on finding out what my COD charge was for and am therefore attempting to gain the smallest bit of revenge by writing this snarky review and hopefully saving some people from the horror show I've put myself through. In conclusion - RRDonnelley bad, HBO was unconcerned and I am less than thrilled with my painted plastic sword that became a lot more expensive than I thought it would. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk
